Your resume is the only chance you have to convince an employer that you deserve an interview. Your resume should highlight your skills and abilities specific to the job you are applying for. Resumes should be neat, logical, and professional. List your most recent job first and work backward, noting both the month and year in each of your dates of employment. Keep your resume to two pages or less. Leave off personal information such as your social security number, interests, and hobbies. Have someone else proofread your resume for spelling or grammatical errors.
